This place is bad, like really terrible. Employees are actively not good at their job. I was expecting a package 8/16. The carrier out on delivery decided they couldn’t read the address and shipped it back. The infamous words no one ever wants to see on their tracking: ‘return to sender.’ Last scanned location: Cupertino, ca. Went to the post office Monday morning 8/18 to see if I could just collect the package myself. Because we all know the post isn’t open on Sunday so chances are it’s still there right? Wrong. Clerk was dismissive and unkind. “It was retuned to sender!” “Yes, I understand that but why?” I ask. “Address was missing apt number.” Okay, I find that hard to believe as it was a printed label but sure. I ask, “do you have a photo?” “No!”, okay so no proof? “Do you know where it is currently located?” “It is being returned!” Clerk says. Right I understand that, but you have to have some way of Telling me where it is exactly as it makes its return trip, right? “No! It is being returned!” He says. *facepalm* They tell me I have to wait for it to travel all the way back across the country, and have the sender ship it again. Ridiculous. Hey USPS/ Cupertino, why don’t you hold the package for 24hrs and mark it pickup at post office before sending it across the country? Why isn’t there any way for me to see its current location and progress as it gets sent back? Why is your Cupertino location so bad at answering a simple question, Where. Is. My. Package!? Something’s fishy. The fact that you can’t tell me where it is after being RTS’d is extremely strange. If the package doesn’t show up back to the sender by the end of the week I’m contacting the postmaster general for mail theft investigation.
