- JFJerry F.Sep 24, 20251.0I'm SO upset! I had to get documents to a client by tomorrow morning because he's leaving out of town! So I called the closest FedEx office to my work and spoke with Ngoc! (Woman) I asked her specifically what was the latest time I could be there to insure my client would get these documents by the next day. (FYI...This was at 5pm.) She said: " If you get here by 6 o'clock, they will definitely get to him by tomorrow." GREAT! So I left work early, in heavy traffic and got to them by 5:35 PM. I walked in and was greeted by a very nice gentleman that told me that my package wouldn't go out until tomorrow because I missed the cutoff time of 5pm. My package would not be delivered until the following day. 😡 Well, that didn't settle too well with me. I was NOT very happy that Ngoc lied to me. I'm sure she's a nice person, but she either needs to be trained more or not say something that she knows nothing about. She could have asked her co-workers to get the correct answer. Anyway... he got another gentleman to assist me who was equally as nice. He told me the same thing ... that I had to be there by 5 pm for next day delivery. Again... NOT HAPPY! 😡 HEY FEDEX... TRAIN YOUR STAFF BETTER! Kind of an important thing for your staff to understand, know, and learn, and it's not that difficult. Also, they can't look up business account numbers. So if you go, you better have that available and ready when you go there... or you're out of luck. I guess that just really shows you how much FedEx trusts their employees! Pretty sad! End of rant!
