- SFSydney FreemanOct 11, 20212.0I have had a really horrible time with this post office. We don’t get mail delivered to our address so we have to have a PO Box. This location closes at 4 pm which is pretty standard for most businesses. That’s kind of why it’s a problem. Most of the time, I’m at work and cannot check mail until after 4 so if I ever need to talk to someone, I literally can’t.This post office also randomly closes early without notification, so even if I am able to head over there an hour earlier to get a package from the counter, there’s a possibility that they’ve already closed for the day but you can never tell until you go all the way there. Recently, I had a delivery status update saying that my package was being returned to the carrier. We quickly headed over and the guy told us that our items weren’t set to be delivered until the following day and basically turned the situation around to be our fault, not theirs. There is one woman who does actually try to grab our packages if she sees they’re being returned and I give her 5 stars but this is a mess. I can understand being understaffed but mail is an important aspect to everyone’s lives and the inconsistencies are troubling.
