- RRR.B.3 days ago1.0delivery person tried leaving (3) 45 pound bags in the mailbox even after i scheduled a redelivery to the front door. nobody answers the phone. it’s a 30min drive to the post office to pick up items ordered via amazon.

The post office is haphazardly allowing some mail to go through to my address but not all? I have mail that a bank told me isn’t going through and Sierra Tel messaged me about a late payment and called me asking if we have a mail receptacle because their mail is being returned and they are being told that. My house has a mailbox, I live here. I asked if there was mail being held and the worker didn’t even give me the time of day to look and check my address, they dismissed me. I want to know…are you holding my mail? There was a big line so I left but I am deeply dissatisfied and disappointed in the service here and see why this post office has an alarming rate of single star reviews. Did Private Equity buy this office? I wasn’t even allowed to use a pen to write the address so I left and was told I could BUY one to write the address on my box, for reals? even a piece of tape would be close to $2. Really? I can’t even use a writing utensil to write an address? You want me to buy one? Just wow.

Talked to a worker there at the window after ringing bell and was told they can't do anything. Wish this government service would be completely restructured.

With that said if you have one large package that they can’t fit in the box or if one isn’t available they won’t deliver any of your other packages until you drive up and get it. Closing at four in the afternoon also makes this hard. BUT they are open around 10am on Saturday for package pick up. I know the staff is trying to do the best with what the have but it is so frustrating to have 100% of your orders just stop because there wasn’t space or your neighbor ordered too many things from Amazon. Again, the staff and folks at the front desk are doing their best and I see that this isn’t on them and that they are equally frustrated with everything.
