This isn't the first time I had a very negative experience at this location. It was c. 0845 but only one clerk was at the counter and the line was getting longer. The one clerk at his post was an older filipino who wears gloves (for whatever reason...) but more notably he is short tempered and abrasive with customers. I have witnessed his almost hostile interactions with other people at his station on multiple occasions in the past. I had to bring my email barcode and an ID into the post office for mail forwarding purposes. Ultimately the "supervisor" assisted me and he was okay, (my personal bar for customer service is rather low, I don't need to be greeted or smiled at...)t up until the point where he became passive aggressively condescending. I requested additional clarification, after waiting in line for a fairly long time, I felt I had that right. He repeatedly tried to, in effect, shoo me away and was not so subtle trying to shame me (which never, ever works with me...) by saying other people were waiting. (Yeah, if more employees were at the counter when the post office actually opened there wouldn't have been nearly as many.) I have been a hospital nurse for nearly 29 years and of course have multiple patients assigned to me every shift. Never do I tell a patient, even one is 'needy' if not arguably demanding, that I have to move on to "the next patient who is waiting". No, I have to meet all the needs of that patient, answer all their questions, even if they ask me more than once, and do not leave the bedside without asking with sincerity if there's anything else I can do for that them. My questions for the "supervisor" were relevant and appropriate. I didn't appreciate his attempt to be dismissive. Although he was soft spoken and not as performatively rude as the first employee I described, he should be held to a higher standard. You never make your clientele feel that they are less important than others. I won't go back to this post office location for any reason, other than to drop off, although it is very convenient to my residence. I'd rather go to the smaller, further post office in Bonita where I have had a PO Box for 22 years, even now that I am closing the box. The purpose of my visit to the downtown CV post office was to fulfill the in-person ID requirement.

As typical of Post Offices, these guys are right in line. I happened to be driving in Chula when I realized I needed to drop a package I forgot to do earlier in the day. Stopped there and got typical DMV service. As a subsidized organization you would think they could do better, but no. The high water mark is DMV level service, though even the DMV has improved some over the years.

Terrible customer service. The workers here really do not care about the community. Drop box is always locked up and they take a very long time to ship out your mail when you drop it off

Horrible service ! Take your business somewhere else, there is always a line and when they help you they make you make at least 1 hours, after and before construction.
