  We had a very disappointing experience at Staples today. My mom went in to return an Amazon package for me, and the employee assisting her was extremely rude and unprofessional. My mom explained that it was her first time doing an Amazon return, and instead of being helpful, the employee told my mom “you’re the one doing the return and it’s common sense” when asking my mom to fold items in the return. This made my mom feel uncomfortable and embarrassed, which is unacceptable, especially for someone just trying to follow instructions. Customer service should be about helping people, not putting them down. I hope management addresses this so other customers don’t have a similar experience.

  I frequently return my packages at this location, and for the very first time, I was displeased with the conduct of a slender, petite Black man employed there. After he scanned my return, I inquired about receiving a receipt; he replied that there was no receipt available, only an email. I then asked, "Oh, does it show my email there?" He responded, "We don't email, Amazon does," which is acceptable. However, his subsequent actions were highly disrespectful. Using his hands, he made a sweeping motion, akin to shooing someone away, perhaps because a couple had just arrived and were behind while I had been there waiting for few minutes while helping another guy. I surmise he thought I did not notice his behavior because I was focused on my phone. I chose not to confront him verbally but made a point to write a review. The golden rule, "Don't do to others what you don't want others do unto you," appropriately applies in this situation.

  I visited the store to have a label printed and encountered an unprofessional customer service representative named Lizet. She was eating while helping customers, which I found quite off-putting. Although she initially offered to assist me, she ended up attending to other customers who arrived after me. Overall, I was dissatisfied with my experience at this store and do not plan to return.
