First time at this location, and my experience was extremely disappointing. The employee, Lolita, was rude and unprofessional from the start. She was texting/ watching on her personal cell phone and didn’t greet me. When I said I needed to drop off packages, she bluntly told me, “Next time drop your packages over there in the corner.”
I politely replied, “Sure, ma’am, but I need a receipt.” She looked frustrated that I had interrupted her personal social media time and said she couldn’t give me a receipt—just told me to take a picture of the packages instead.
After I insisted, she reluctantly weighed my boxes and claimed they were overweight compared to my labels, saying she needed to charge me more. When I asked to speak with a manager, she disappeared for about 10 minutes with no explanation. I then asked another colleague for help, and that employee shouted, “Someone does not want to wait.”
Lolita eventually returned from the back—without any manager—and said, “We are a non-profit organization. We don’t make money, that’s why we’re losing our business and always at a loss.” She kept my packages but never gave me a receipt. I now have no way to confirm if my packages were actually delivered. I am thinking to switch my business account to UPS.
I strongly urge the management of USPS Carmel-by-the-Sea, CA (This Location) to address this unprofessional behavior. No customer should be treated this way. Lack of office etiquette, communication skills and misrepresentation of USPS will erode the business from within.

Lolita doesn’t like me.
And Sharon is always muttering insults as I’m standing in line waiting to pick up a package.
“Mess?” “Dac?” “Now?” (on numerous occasions.)
I held the door open for a short statured woman and she yelled
“Mess!” right in my face.
“Thank You” would be nice.
This is the same place someone cut a substantial amount of my hair from behind.
Signed up for a PO Box at Pakmail Carmel (the girls are always helpful and polite) when I was trampled by rude customers.
“Hell.”😇🙏🕊️♥️

Go in on a Friday to pick up a package that was delivered hours before, get told "oh I can't go grab that, you'll be able to pick it up tomorrow." They're closed on Saturdays.

Conveniently located, short line Friday mid morning. Next to the mail slot is a permanent slot for."misdirected mail." I'm not sure if this is the best location to post a letter.
