I will never return to this store. I always ship with them and never have had issues or rude encounters until this experience. I shipped my package out of state and put the wrong address ups notified me of this shortly and i returned to the store immediately to try to correct the error and was turned away and told to call the customer service line. I ended up calling NUMEROUS times and was told they couldn’t, one person “resolved the issue (not at all) and then others literally acted like they did not want to help. I ended up returning back to the store and dealt with Bobby ( VERY nice and professional man and my honest opinion the only person who seems to have compassion and great customer service skills at this store) he advised me the package would come back and he would call when it arrived, totally okay with this and I planned on shipping it back out with new items once I picked it up. When I did pick it up the box was beat up and when I opened it my items in the box were completely and utterly ruined! I’m convinced ups was throwing with ALL their might or even stomping on peoples stuff (received other damaged items shipped with ups this year) because…how. I wrapped my items securely and safely in a fitting box this was total negligence and disregard for peoples stuff and it’s truly horrible! Anyways I waited at the store for 20 minutes past opening time as the two employees were late very late and not a care in the world either. I waited outside with 5 other people for them to finally open and have no care that my belongings where ruined the girl just seemed… not surprised gave me a “number” to call that WAS A NUMBER FOR LIFE ALERT… I called the store today Monday and spoke with Shawn and told him the situation and he was rude, inconsiderate and truly could careless he just said that happens and to just file a claim ZERO CARE he provided me a different number and that was about it. I called the number and was advised that my ups store had to file the claim…. So I went back to the store and was thankfully helped by yet again Bobby who quickly filed my claim gave me any additional paperwork and advised me how the claim process would work.
I understand that these packages are just packages to the workers but we are spending ALOT of money to safely get our items to their destinations accidents happen I get that. I’m sure everyone who comes into this ups store it is their regular store because it’s mine. To treat your customers so poorly is truly wild to me. No one deserves to be dismissed and told “it happens” what if it was someone’s ashes something irreplaceable? How cold and rude could you be? Showing concern and simply providing help like Bobby did is your job. Idk HOW Shawn is a manager if he lacks something so basic but can truly make the biggest difference. It not just about taking peoples money and shooing them along it’s about everything else your job entails which this store or MAJORITY of them do not provide. A simple sorry that happened let’s get this corrected would have made a worlds difference not sending me on a month long hunt when my first problem arises and showing zero concern to even help fix that WHICH THEY COULD HAVE DONE THE ENTIRE TIME JUST DIDNT KNOW HOW. Because Bobby attempted to when I returned to the store but wasn’t able to since they tried to many times to deliver my package. I will never come back to this store again. Thank you Bobby for your professional and customer service when it came to this whole issue. Outside of him.. good luck if
You need further help or any conversation outside of returning Amazon packages or shipping your own. Based off other people’s reviews these people lack care and respect and only care about the customers keeping them in business the rest does not seem to be important to them so I will most definitely never support this store again.
