- KHKatie HardemanNov 13, 20252.0The Post Office itself, has a wonderful quality. Friendly faces, big smiles, and extremely helpful. Everything you would expect from a mountain community. Unfortunately, the USPS has picked up a contract with Amazon. Our mail carrier is overwhelmed. They no longer even bring the packages with them. They are marked as "UNDELIVABLE". Everyone who receives items from Amazon, bigger than a common USPS required mailbox, can now drive 30 miles round trip out of their way a few times a week. Gas isn't cheap and non-accessible here.
