    I had a very frustrating experience at The UPS Store when I went in for a notary service. The employee assisting me was unhelpful and seemed either unaware of the rules or simply unwilling to provide service. My driver’s license is in the renewal process, so I had the official temporary paper license issued by the DMV (from just a week ago), along with a valid physical federal ID. I even showed a photo of my previous license to help verify my details. Everything clearly matched, but the employee refused to proceed and insisted on requirements that didn’t make sense. The most confusing part was that the staff said an expired license photo + temporary paper would be accepted, but an unexpired license photo + the same temporary paper would not—which is completely inconsistent. To make things worse, I went to another The UPS Store location afterward with the exact same documents, and they notarized my paper without any argument. This clearly shows the issue was not with my ID, but with the staff at this location. Instead of trying to help or clarify, he gave dismissive responses and compared the situation to buying alcohol, which felt irrelevant and unprofessional. Notary services are supposed to follow identity verification rules, but also apply reasonable judgment when valid government-issued documents are presented. Overall, the staff came across as unprofessional and unwilling to assist. A better understanding of acceptable identification—and more respectful customer service—would go a long way

    Horrible customer service walking up to the door at 3:59 not yet 4. I got to the door but the ups worker was already locking before 4 making eye contact with me seeing i had a cam boot and a couple package struggling as I am disabled, ignore my request to be let in as he was locking the door before closing. Just because he had just cleared the line from the outside inside. Update I went back to talk to the manager and as I was talking to him the employee kept interrupting me and telling me I was wrong and to “come on time next time” mind you I depend on rides. Horrible customer service to talk to a customer in that manner

    Wong’s outstanding service AND patience was above and beyond. I was having issues with an email document I sent ups store 4931 multiple times and he kindly asked to help so I gave him My phone and walla, I got My document printed! Always a pleasant experience at this location. Thank you.

    This is the only UPS Store I’ve been to that charges for taping a box. I had two returns and only needed one strip of tape on one side, yet they still charged $2 because it was “oversized.” I asked if they could accommodate this once since I’m a returning customer and didn’t have tape on hand, but they refused. How does $2 justify a single strip of tape? Feels like they’re just trying to make a quick buck. Poor customer service.
