- WBWynne BentiMay 26, 20205.0Have been using the Bishop Post Office since 1997. Sometimes, I stand in line and wonder how the clerks put up with some of the twits they serve. Calm, cool, collected, those clerks are and always polite. I also use UPS, but a lot of the time, ups.com is down because too many people are trying to process shipments before 3:00/3:30pm. Our local drivers and depot are awesome, but corporate UPS is not. Am thankful USPS is here. Knock on wood, never have had a package damaged in shipping such as has happened with UPS. Once shipped three paintings to a customer in Washington DC. Photographed the packaging, the label, everything. The paintings vanished without a trace using UPS, and were insured for full value. The paintings showed up back at my business a month later. No outer box. Still wrapped in all the internal packaging, so they were undamaged. USPS is sterling and we, the people, need to protect the postal employees and their union.
