Brandon is a living legend. DHL- give that man a promotion and a raise right away, he is the reason I went forward with you folks. I had to send a package to California and he promptly helped me out, gave me all the shipping rates and suggested the one suitable for my exact need. Whole process was done in about 3 minutes. Brandon's super considerate too- he told me to stay safe out there as rowdy FIFA crowds were all over the streets. Brandon, if you're reading this, you're a real one mate. Keep putting a smile on people's faces, cheers.

The person on the main counter (a man in my case) must provide excellent customer service, and give all details at a timely manner. He did not tell me about the duty taxes I could pay here in Canada before shipping my package, instead of charging that amount to the receiver which was utterly annoying. And, also te entire time I was there every time a customer cross the door I could hear him sighing, maybe due to stress (who knows) but it was unsettling.

Original review: I am furious. I'm out of the country and have sent a friend as my authorized representative to pick up a very important parcel on my behalf at this location, but they turned her away "because their internet wasn't working". I need this document, and this person is doing me a favour. This is absolutely unacceptable service! You have no business turning away someone who is trying to pick up their parcel, and if your internet isn't working that is very much a YOU problem and it's unthinkable that you punish your customers for that! And of course, there are ZERO ways to contact them out of office hours, so leaving a review is my last resort. I will very much be calling them tomorrow morning and letting them know what I think of their service. If my document gets sent back, it is going to cost me hundreds of dollars to reorder it. Who is going to pay for that? I will return to report back how this was resolved. Edited to add: staff were very quick to respond to this review and email me personally, and take information of my representative to make sure the parcel was ready to be given to her when she came back. The parcel was successfully picked up. However, I'm still not impressed by them using a system that makes their operations impossible in the case of an outage. To not have a manual workaround is ridiculous in my opinion.

I strongly discourage anyone from using DHL for international shipments. In my experience, DHL repeatedly failed to deliver on its promised service. Packages were delayed or not delivered as expected, communication was poor, and getting clear answers or meaningful follow-up was nearly impossible. Despite charging premium international shipping rates, customer support often redirected responsibility to DHL in the origin country instead of helping resolve the issue locally. What frustrated me most was the lack of accountability and customer care when problems occurred. If you're sending something important internationally, consider other options before choosing DHL. Based on my experience, alternatives such as Staffetta or other international courier services may provide a more reliable and customer-focused experience. I will not be using DHL again and cannot recommend their international shipping services.
