  On Tuesday, October 13, 2026, at approximately 1:00 PM, I had an extremely disappointing experience with a male employee working at the counter. I found his behavior rude and unprofessional, and I felt that he was unwilling to help me ship my package, which contained three electronic devices, including iPads and iPhones, along with other personal belongings. Initially, he told me he could not accept these items for shipment. When I explained that I had researched DHL’s shipping policies beforehand and understood that these items could be shipped, he changed his response and said he could accept only two devices. I tried to remove the items he would not accept so I could complete my shipment. However, when I was attempting to resolve the issue, he approached me and provided additional information that made the process even more difficult and confusing. Based on this interaction, I felt that I was not receiving the assistance I needed. When I decided to leave, he waved goodbye in a manner that I perceived as sarcastic and dismissive. I found this behavior disrespectful and inappropriate for a customer service representative. I lived in the United States for nearly 10 years, and DHL has always been a company I trusted. I never expected such a disappointing experience in Canada. The employee’s behavior made me feel unwelcome, unsupported, and as though I was not being treated fairly as a customer. I eventually went to a nearby UPS location, where the staff were courteous, professional, and genuinely helpful throughout the entire process. They guided me step by step and successfully shipped EVERY SINGLE ITEM I wanted to send without any problems whatsoever. The contrast between the two experiences was remarkable. UPS provided the level of customer service I had hoped to receive from DHL. DHL CANADA, this was the worst shipping experience of my life. After years of trusting your company, this incident has seriously damaged my confidence in your service. Customers deserve respect, clear communication, and genuine assistance. I hope DHL takes this feedback seriously and reviews the customer service provided at this location.

  I had an absolutely wonderful experience here! Lise helped me return my parcel to the carrier, and she was absolutely lovely, super friendly, helpful, and professional. The whole process was quick, smooth, and hassle-free. Such excellent customer service! Thank you so much, Lise, for making everything so easy. Really appreciate your help!

  I visited DHL Express at 595 Howe Street to send an important passport application package to the UK, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience! I was assisted by Brandon and Lise, who were absolutely amazing from start to finish. They patiently walked me through completing the waybill, helped package my documents securely, and took extra care to ensure that all the important application reference codes were correctly placed in the appropriate sections. I was understandably nervous, given how important these documents were, but their professionalism, warmth, patience, and expertise immediately put me at ease. They genuinely went above and beyond, and I left feeling reassured that everything had been handled with care and attention to detail. I've since received confirmation from the UK government that my package and all supporting documents have been received and my application is now being processed! A huge thank you to Brandon and Lise for making what could have been a stressful experience so smooth and positive. Your kindness and exceptional customer service were truly appreciated. Highly recommend this DHL Express location!

  I have picked up over a dozen packages from this DHL service point over the last couple of years and have had a wonderful experience every time. The lady who often works the front desk has the patience of a saint, and is always kind friendly and helpful. Even in the face of customers who are angry at things much out of her control. I usually update my delivery to go to the service point instead of home just to get that little human touch which I appreciate (and I can pick it up on my way home from work without issue). The hours at this service point are also extremely generous compared to some other services. As for DHL itself, while no carrier is perfect I’ve found them to be very speedy and reliable compared to the competition. Their tracking estimates are usually on point and seldom are there issues. This is for both pickup from the service point and for home delivery.
