I own a small business and I ship a lot of packages. I will never use this location again. The lady working told me she was going to have to open up and inspect my package. I had already printed and purchased a shipping label through Shopify. In my ten years in business I’ve never had a front desk staff tell me they needed to inspect my package and open it up. She told me I needed to stay while she went through it and I did a customs form ( which was already completed through my shopify account). She told me i needed to do customs again because even though i did it she needed to do her job. It gave power tripping and condescending for no reason. Left and went else where with no issue. Btw this was a package with just a hand made bathing suit in it , so nothing huge or complicated.

I was there this afternoon, first time using DHL as per customer request, wanted to send computer components to my customer in the States, person at the counter was rough and not helpful when I asked him about the commercial invoice and HS number for my customer. He opened my package for inspection in a rough careless way and the way he was handling the components I was worry he will damage the parts (highly sensitive to static). I noticed lack of knowlege (or training) of this employee, didn't know what was HS, unpolite aswers to my questions and way of handling expensive and sensitive electronics parts (I told him what was inside the box and its value). DHL should be held accountable If my customer report any damaged parts.

Do not use DHL to ship your product to a household. They do not actually ring the doorbell and they do not wait even if a bright yellow note says we’re home.
We were receiving passports through DHL. The first passport we received was lucky. He knocked (did not ring the bell) and I was in the kitchen around the corner from the door. Thankfully I heard something and when I went to the door literally 3 seconds later the guy was RUNNING halfway down the driveway and almost at his vehicle. He wasn’t going to wait. I had to call him back.
Our second passport we knew we’d receive on a specific day within a specific window of time as we received an email. We put a bright yellow note on the door. Told them to ring the bell. We told him we are home (so he wouldn’t ring and run like last time). And we were home the whole time. My wife and I waited for the specified time. With one of us ALWAYS being available. Yet they claimed no one was home. We believe he didn’t even show up. Or he drove up. And drove away.
They might get paid for a number of calls on a route even if they don’t get contact. So the faster they are done the route the faster they get to go home. I don’t know. Either way, they failed. Now they want us to drive half an hour out of our way to pick it up.
