0 stars if possible. I have had nothing but problems since the middle of April with Virgin after over a decade of no issues. Starts off with a "loyalty retention phone call" I got unsolicited. During that phone call, I was asked if I had any problems or concerns with the current phone I have. I do not have any problems, and I did NOT order an upgrade at that time. During the call, I receive an email from Virgin " confirming my order" of a new google pixel 10. I ask the guy from Virgin, and he tells me to ignore and delete the email. I do not, because that sounds suspicious to me. A few days later, I receive a package from Virgin. In it is the same Google Pixel 10 that I was told to ignore. I have now called 4 times to Virgin regarding this, confirming every single time that I did not order this phone, and for them to pick it up. One member told me not to activate the phone so I would not be charged for it's activation. Between sending me nonfunctional return emails to "send it back to Canada Post" and Several Phone calls to Support that assured me, "it is all taken care of in the background", this has been a complete nightmare from start to finish. The new phone remains in the box, unopened and off. This morning I receive an email from Virgin, "Congratulating and confirming with me that my 'new phone plan', is activated. My new bill? $100 over my current bill, with 80 less GB, and no America Roaming, as was on my previous plan, that again, I DID NOT CHANGE. Now when I look at my account, there is a new bill, a new phone, and a new plan, all of which I was told MULTIPLE TIMES, to ignore and it was all fixed on the back end. I post this as a warning to Virgin, and to all those who value loyalty. IF IT AIN'T BROKE, DON'T FIX IT. Going from a loyal customer that never had any complaints, and always prepaid his bills, to someone who will absolutely NEVER recommend Virgin to another person looking for a phone plan.
