- JWJosh W.Jan 28, 20261.0When I opened a PO Box about 10 years ago they were $30/ 6 months, they are now $200/ year. The Price increase is one thing, but the service never improved with the higher cost. My mail would frequently show delivered and not actually be in the box. For the last 3 months, EVERY WEEK I have to leave work to go stand in line to pick up something because they're CONSTANTLY out of parcel lockers, their hours suck, and only 1 employee there acts like they aren't completely saturated in misery.

The office was clean, and I was in and out quickly, which was a bonus on Black Friday. This USPS office was welcoming and friendly. The handicap parking is available and accessible.
- THTimothy HallmarkNov 9, 20251.0We built our home 28 years ago and for 28 years Postal Carriers routinely delivered mail to our mailbox and parcels to our front door. That all changed last month. Carriers will no longer leave their vehicles. They now place a call tag in the mailbox. This has happened three times just this past week. The parcels aren't available to be picked up until the following day, 2 days later if the call tag is received on a Saturday. The USPS has perfected inefficiency and indifference. This all comes on the heels of a significant postage rate increase.
- MMManessa McLaughlinNov 6, 20251.0Every time I get a package from Amazon that is supposed to be delivered through them if it has more than three items in it, they just mark it as undeliverable and I have to track it down. They literally refuse to walk it up to my door, and I live in a subdivision. Just yesterday, there was a package with 10 items in it from Amazon and instead of walking it up to my door, they marked it as couldn’t fit in the mailbox because the mailbox was full. The mailbox was empty. The box was just too big to fit in it and they refused to walk the few steps around the corner from the mailbox to put it on my porch. I’ve been here six months and this has happened at least five times. I have never had this issue any other place I’ve lived.

We'd had a stressful day and we so needed help with our package and this guy was there with a big smile eager to help including a little tape that we sorely needed. Thank you Atascadero post office!
