This is regarding the service provided by employee Rita. I was traveling for the past month and it was my first time living in apartments where the mailbox got full and the mails were uncollected outside of the timeframe. I went to the post office to track down the contents of my mailbox because apparently they take everything inside of the mailbox stop delivering you mail. Instead of helping me to let the courier know to stop withholding my mail and explain the process of mail holding when going on vacation, she told me “no one” when I asked her who I can talk to regarding releasing the mail. She sent me to the corner to wait for her supervisor where her supervisor was not present at the time. Her coworker was nice enough to help me when she completely ignored me when asked her if her supervisor was present after waiting for a while until no more customers were in line. When I left I was so frustrated because she didn’t even look at me, so I went back and asked for her name. She sarcastically commented that I should tell her supervisor that yelled at her, where in fact, I didn’t even get a chance to yell at her because her coworker was stepping out to do the job for her. As a former service representative myself, blaming on the customer and lying was the most unprofessional and childish thing I’ve ever seen. She fail to communicate and escalated the issue. There are people who either know how to communicate or care about their job looking for employment and it’s a shame that this unprofessional individual is representing the post office. Please reevaluate her performance and consider hiring someone else!

I would like to sincerely thank and commend a staff member at the post office, his name is Jonathan Lopez, he is a star! He is exceptionally dedicated and professional. I recently had a piece of mail that was not delivered, and thanks to their swift assistance, the issue was located and resolved within just a few hours. His efficiency, responsibility, and attention to detail left a deep impression on me. He truly stood out as a model of excellence. I hope their efforts can be recognized, as they deserve to be a role model for outstanding customer service. Thank you again for your help — it meant a lot!

Terrible service terrible manager. DO NOT GO HERE. They will give you a hard time, was just lied to saying I can’t have a “make shift box” a box I’ve made bigger. Been doing this for years every month and never had a problem. Just looked it up online as well and ITS FINE. I won’t be back to this goofy post office. Teach your workers their job Update: manager also told me neighboring usps store 725 W Duarte Rd, Arcadia, CA 91007. Wouldn’t be able to help me, which was simply not the case because I went directly to that store and ask the manager there himself, in which he told me this is no problem, and shipped my boxes😁. Just like the dozens of other usps store I’ve done this at, shame they don’t know how to do their job and lot to their customers🤦‍♂️

Some of the old timers behind the counter can be nice--if you get them on a good day. Most of the time, unfortunately, they are very loud and talk down to you. They are quick in making accusations and enjoy talking down to customers. For example, I had one of them telling me "when will you people ever learn?" The lady was unhappy because I put the postage stamp on the wrong side of the envelop (because I ran out of space.) Never mind that I was born in this country.
