- MMMark MakarychevDec 24, 20235.0I'm not sure why, but the Primo refill stations that are inside Walmarts are cheaper than those that you usually find outside stores like Fry's. Water here is 36 cents per gallon (vs 50 cents per gallon, plus a 10 cent surcharge for using a credit card, which is often times the only way to pay at those other stations). Paying for the water is a bit different though - once you fill your container(s) you need to go to one of the checkout counters (can be self-checkout) and have the cashier ring up however many gallons you've filled (if doing self checkout, use the search button to search for "Primo"). I really like how Primo maintains their stations and that their water always tastes good, so it's definitely an added bonus to know that you can get the same, Primo quality water here for just a bit cheaper.
