Today I had one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had at a USPS office. In the past, representatives behind the counter have sometimes been serious or showed little patience, but I have never felt disrespected like I did today. I understand that people get tired and overwhelmed sometimes , but this was truly an extremely unpleasant experience. After this interaction, I looked at the location’s rating and saw 2.9 ⭐️ now I understand why! The issue was with an employee named Princeley. A tall guy with long hair. I only asked a simple question because I do not work at USPS and I am not familiar with their rules. Instead of helping, he responded with poor I mean POOR attitude and made me feel ignorant for asking. When I calmly told him that if he didn’t have the patience to explain, I could speak with someone else, he simply extended his hand toward the counter without saying a word, signaling me to move on. Thankfully, another kind lady at the first register helped me. I explained my concern to her and asked to speak with a supervisor. She apologized for somebody else’s bad behavior, and She tried multiple times to call one, but no supervisor came. I waited approximately 15–20 minutes before leaving. Before I left, I informed them that I would be submitting feedback online. Employees in government service positions like USPS should understand customer service and treat people with respect. I am a manager myself and understand how important customer service is. Just because people rely on mailing services does not mean they should be treated poorly.

Line out the door. Reenforces the justified stereotypes of public service workers devoid of any sense of duty to serve the public and without accountability.

I witnessed an elderly disabled man (in a wheelchair) treated HORRIBLY by the clerk and supervisor. Then the same clerk (Chris?) & supervisor treated me badly, lying to me about why my package cost almost TWICE as much to ship as it ever does (I mail the same package every month for the past 2-3 years.). Suddenly it costs immensely more, and they were RUDE that I would ask why. I left, went to another branch, and no problem whatsoever (I didn't even mention that something might be wrong. It just worked like it ALWAYS has every month for the past 2-3 years). And then two clerks were openly mocking a customer after the customer left. USPS isn't known for customer service, but this branch is like a horror show. The clerks are mean, sadistic. The supervisor is incompetent. I've never seen a branch operate as badly as this one (it's like they have contempt for the public. No empathy. No sense of anyone being a customer. Toxic is the word.).

Experience here a long line and one of the clerks is rude as hell.
