Does not accept the use of UPS account numbers, but it is a UPS store. Makes zero sense. Waste of time.

This UPS branch has some of the rudest, nastiest customer service representatives that I've ever met, and I'd be surprised if the place ever has any return customers.

I've been a mailbox owner for years, but since the recent “company-wide” software update and mailbox “rule,” it feels like the Owner is nickel-and-diming you for everything and made up the rules as they go. Mailbox owners can't use the UPS Store as a UPS Access Point because “it’s in the contract.” and they will charge it to your mailbox quota. It's a shame that they are losing good customers due to these “new made rules”. I give five stars to the staff. The staff is amazing and I would hire every single one of them in my business, but I will take my business to Staples. They offer virtual Mailboxes are way cheaper and without all the made rules. Sorry to the staff, I really enjoyed going to the store.

I arrived with a prepaid shipping label and the box that the item I wanted to return came packaged in. I was told that the item needed to be packaged differently (Although last time UPS put the same item in a clear bag!) and that they charge $3.99 for a shipping pouch. To avoid that expense, I drove two miles home to find a box. When I returned, I was THEN told they charge $3.99 to tape the box that I was providing! I was not told that before I headed home for the box although the woman was well aware that I was trying to save money; I already had told her so when she had tried to sell me a pouch! I returned with my box for the second time, which I taped to avoid the excessive $3.99 taping charge, and spoke with the manager, Adam. Of course I was annoyed; you would be, too. In a nutshell, without ever smiling, he said EVERYTHING was MY fault COMPLETELY because I should have read the small sign that was posted describing their charges. I told him that his worker never said anything at all to me about a $3.99 taping cost. I did not see that sign because people were in front of me the first time I arrived, it takes that much more time to read, and people want to get in and out. What I am taking away is that 1) Adam cares about $, not customer service. 2) He practices reaction "management", not preventive management. 3) He did not apologize for anything--my time and inconvenience, misunderstanding, clerks who are unwilling and untrained to be upfront...ANYTHING. Instead, he said that I was not welcome to return. I told him that was fine with me, that the people of this community deserve a lot more respect and quality customer service than what I received, and that he should be ashamed of what he doing.
