  Horrible customer service. Writing this review in hopes that someone from the right department will contact me. I’ve been calling for months with no return calls by the “right department”. The house is leaking in 3 places. Flooding my bathroom every time it rains, whole house smells like rotting moldy wood as this has been going on for months.

  AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COST!! Progress Residential is hands down the most unprofessional, negligent, and dishonest company I’ve ever had to work with. I leased a home sight unseen while moving from out of state. I figured working with a large management company, I’d avoid issues like rental scams, but I was SO wrong. What I arrived to on move in day, 2 weeks after Progress had the home “ready” for me, was awful. The home hadn’t been cleaned, roaches and spiders everywhere, and dog feces left in the backyard by the previous tenants. I immediately called Angelina, the leasing agent, who told me there was nothing she could do and that I should submit a work order and someone would call me on the next business day. I followed up by phone and email every single day for the next 3 weeks before anyone from Progress called me to discuss any of my concerns with the house. In that time I was passed off by every person I spoke to at Progress, everyone told me someone would call me right away, but that was a lie. After another week of waiting for “leadership” to review my concerns, I was told these issues were my fault for not seeing the house and bringing these issues to their attention before I moved in. Absolutely unreal. Now, three months into my lease, they’ve been repeatedly billing me for electricity at a completely different address than mine, in another city, and no one seems to know why it’s happening or how to stop it. No one at this company takes ownership of anything. You’ll never reach anyone beyond a call center that can’t actually fix anything. Leadership and accountability is nonexistent at Progress. They’re a scam disguised as a property management company. I’m counting down the days until my lease ends so I never have to deal with this absolute joke of a company ever again.

  a little update, i’m a new renter from progress residential, horrible staffing issues they have no clue what’s going on. Made my whole move in process an absolute nightmare, please stay far away from this renting company. they do not care about their customers

  Worst move in experience ever!!!! Nobody will call me to resolve the house issues. Moved in last week 9/13/25. Carpets were supposed to be cleaned. There is what more than obvious animal fecal matter stuck to the carpets. I open a case the day I moved in, they keep saying someone will contact me nobody does. I can’t access more portals. I literally have by bed set up on the living room floor. I refuse to put a brand new bed on that carpet, going on 6 days of this. This isn’t right. I’m paying rent to sleep on my living room floor with my son.
