This review is a warning so other people in town can be aware of the current service at the San Tan Valley UPS store. It is unpredictable at best. The lack of accountability and customer service skills is extradentary.
After Christmas I had more than usual returns. I also had everything organized with QR codes ready. None-the-less, if Shiela (the manager) feels that your order is taking too much of their time, she barks at the employee processing your return, to send you to the end of another line. What? The same thing happened to me two times before.
In addition, the man that was processing my returns, put two return items in the same return bag. I said to him that putting two separate returns in one bag would not give me the correct refund. He said it was going to the same company, not to worry about it. Several days later, I returned to the store and asked if he could somehow correct the error, that I was short $60 on the return. He said that he couldn’t do anything about it and told me to call Amazon and that they would pay for it. Really? Let’s all take advantage of Amazon.
Overall, the new ownership’s employees do not take responsibility for their mistakes, are inept, and need training. They don’t care if the customer is shorted a refund, or, about the extra work that the customer has to do to get their refund back, this time out of Amazon’s pocket. It seems, if you go in with a very few returns, you might be treated with courtesy. If you have more than a few returns, expect attitude and problems.
I’ve gone to store#4980 for years with great service and great people in the past. That was before the new ownership.
