Packages that they “delivered” to my locked cluster box were not there on 3 separate occasions. Pathetic service

Lost package, explanation is that they put it on a truck and it was not scanned on the other end. Only option is to hope that at some point the package gets scanned again so it can continue to its destination. She adds, your not the only one, she was just talking to another gentleman who is having the same issue and blamed the system. How hard is it to account for a package on and off a truck. Its such a basic routine handled by companies daily, the post office its literally their 1 job and the answer is only to have hope.

Regular mail carrier seems to care but the subs clearly do not. I asked a sub if the regular mail carrier puts a sign in the mailbox that says "(insert name here) ONLY" why put mail with someone else's name in the mailbox? He says "I don't know." "Maybe they only read the address and not the name." And HE had just put mail with someone else's name (former homeowner) in my box. He says they "have to deliver mail to the address if there is no forwarding address." I say "Not if they don't live there." In the good old days, if you were not the name mentioned on/in the box, the mail carrier sent back the first class mail to the sender. Apparently, that is a novel concept to today's sub mail carriers anyway. Oh and, I occasionally get mail for someone else in the group of mail boxes. Apparently, reading the number on the mailbox and matching it up with the number on the mail may require too much effort also.
