  Insanely unprofessional store - I was overnighting a package and provided it in the early afternoon. The package was a pelican case, the employee rang me up and charged me $350. The employee then called hours later, right before the overnight shipping deadline to tell me that they had made a mistake and because the package was in a pelican case and not a box it was going to cost $600. Essentially, this resulted in the store holding my package and refusing to overnight it to the customer unless I paid double what I had at the store. I understand mistakes happen, and I agreed to pay more due to the mistake but asked that they keep the same tracking as I had already sent the information to my customers. They said that would not be possible. So I asked to pick up the packages and not ship with them. At the store, I asked why the manager sat on my packages for hours only to have her employee call me and tell me that he had charged the wrong price for the packages right before the overnight deadline. She said that she only checks the packages right before they go out, be it the day off or the next day. I suggested that maybe she should check earlier so this situation doesn't happen. She then became very angry, refused to refund me for the packages because I was 'giving her lip' and attempted a somewhat depressing power play by serving other customers and saying she would process a refund when she got around to it. She did ultimately refund me. What a terrible organization. Ultimately, I shipped with the FedEx down the street who charged me $350 to ship the pelican case overnight, I got it out right before the deadline. Would highly recommend the FedEx the employees are sweet, helpful, and don't keep your packages hostage and demand ransom payments to deliver orders! And as you are in the habit of giving your customers personal advice - store store manager, maybe consider another career that you are better suited too. Mistakes happen, but when they do when you are attempting to run a business- accountability is critical to resolving this situations positively.
