    On February 13th I took an Amazon package with 2 security cameras and sim cards to the UPS store for overnight to Hawaii. The employee asked me what the contents were and listed it on the label. He then measured the box and proceeded to tell me it would cost $250 for the overnight fee and it would not arrive for 4 days. After I picked myself up off the floor I asked if there was a less expensive alternative. He suggested I could send the package UPS ground, and it would get there 1 day later for $118. I decided to go that route paid and left. The package did not arrive Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday so I tracked the package and found out it had arrived back to the UPS store on Friday Morning at 10:30am. It was now Friday evening and too late to call the store. On Saturday I went into the store to find out where my package was and why it was returned. The store manager picked my package up off the floor and said "oh ya here it is" with no idea why no one called to tell me my package had been returned the day before. The manager told me she had no idea why I was not called. She then told me the package was returned because it had hazardous materials in it which cannot be shipped via ground to Hawaii. YOU ARE THE UPS STORE DO YOU NOT KNOW THESE THINGS BEFORE YOU SHIP A PACKAGE FOR SOMEONE AND CHARGE THEM $118!!!!! This is your job/business. The package was clearly marked with a hazardous materials sticker on the side. I told them what was in the package and where it was going and yet the employee was the one to recommend the ground shipping as my options. I asked to speak to the owner to get a refund, the store called her, but she was not in front of a computer so I was assured I would receive a call within a day or two. Four days later I went back to the store, and she was still not available. When they tried to call her, she did not answer. I was told she must be in an appointment, and I would get a call later that day. NOPE. I called on Friday and got a long song and dance about how busy she was with family issues. I asked for a call by the end of the day. I have been kind and patient, but his lady clearly does not give a hoot about her customers or service. She still has not reached out to me. There is no reason why 2 weeks later I still do not have a resolution to this issue! I cannot even return the package to Amazon for a refund since it is my proof. Why not just send the Cameras direct from Amazon? Well, my family needed them ASAP and Amazon could not get them to Hawaii until the end of March. Now we have no cameras, and I am out $118.00 for nothing. I WANT MY MONEY BACK ASAP. You are supposed to be the shipping experts! Shame on you for not knowing this package was not able to be shipped this way and shame on you for you complete and utter lack of customer service. I will never set foot in your store again! In response to your response Cheryl. I came into your store 2 times to try to resolve this. You were called by your management 2 times, so you were well aware of the issue. I called after no return calls back from you for over a week and still no call. Now that you have this lovely review attached to your business, you apologize and act like you had no idea what was going and then ask for me to call you. SORRY! You need to call me. I will not chase you anymore! GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK!!!!!!!

    The reason I always come back to this store is the customer service, and specifically June! June is amazing, kind, and knowledgeable; she always helps with whatever problem I am having.

    The whole team is very courteous and welcoming. Even the young kids working there are very well trained. Parker, Austin and Orlando did an outstanding job!

    Awful experience at this store! Sent a Christmas present on the 22nd & the package got lost & shipped back to the store. We had no idea because the tracking would never update! So we called the store to find out where it was and come to find out it was at the store this whole time. It was received back at the store on the 30th. We actually called the store on the 30th and the gentleman who helped us told us that it was to be delivered to the destination a day after New Year’s Day. So it had been sitting there at the store for 6 days & nothing. Samantha at the store was rude & unhelpful. It’s crazy since she’s the one who signed for the package & she said she never remembers doing so. My husband called the next day to speak to the manager Irma, who was even LESS helpful & wasn’t apologetic one bit. Seeing how she handled the situation lets me know what type of manager she is & also shows why her employees are just as untrained.
