I just returned home from the Hereford US Post Office. The lack of customer service at this post office never seems to get any better! After standing in line with six other people ahead of me, and two behind me, the very rude postal clerk (who is consistently rude every time I've been there), announced that "if you are here to pick up a package and the date on your package slip is after August 29, your package is not ready for pickup". That being the case most everyone present, left the post office without receiving their package. In my case, a package slip was left in my mailbox on Friday, August 29, indicating I could pickup the package on August 30. Today is Tuesday, September 2 and I'm told the package is unavailable for pickup! Then why did the package slip indicate the package was available for pickup on August 30?!!! This isn't the first time I've driven all the way to the post office to pick up a package, and left empty handed. Several other times I've been told by the rude postal clerk that she couldn't find the package and that I'd have to come back for the package another day! This lack of customer service is totally unacceptable, and if I were the local postmaster, I would be most embarrassed to know this is happening!

First they don't deliver to your house. Then they put notices in your mailbox for packages to pickup. Then you wait 15+ minutes in line for them to tell you they haven't been unloaded and they actually aren't ready for pickup. The most poorly organized or rather unorganized post office ever. Don't put notices in people's boxes if the packages aren't actually ready! Compete waste of everyone's time!

There is something seriously wrong with a postoffice that takes 4 visits to pick up a package. Never got a pink slip notification that there was a package. Was told no package until the Dallas office called in a tracking inquiry and suddenly the package was found behind another package on a shelf. Not a small box either. There needs to be some reorganization. The guy I talked to said any complaint would go to him so he was going to have a discussion about it. Really? This is a beautiful postoffice. It needs new methods and people who can do the job. I don't live in this area. I was told you can get mail out ok but deliveries are a problem and that employee attitudes are poor. I hope they get some help to become more efficient

This post office is notorious for marking your packages or boxes as "delivered" when it isn't actually delivered to your neighborhood cluster box. The delivery driver sometimes fails to leave an oversized pickup slip in my cluster box. After their employee marks a package or box as delivered, my package or box will not arrive at a later date/time, more than 95% of the time. Also, we know the exact time frame that the driver is supposed to come to the neighborhood cluster box so we've witnessed the package/box 📦 not actually being delivered at the date and time attached to the tracking number. Also, I went inside their lobby to pick up my oversized package one time, and the older lady told me that she accidentally gave my box to the wrong guy about 30 minutes before I showed up. The other customer had the same house number as me but different street names, and obviously, we had different names.

This has to be one of the worst post offices I have ever had to deal with. Every time I have to go get my packages they are so un organized. Every time they say it's not there. Even though I am showing the pink slip... And all their employees have bad attitudes. If you don't like your job go find another one!!
