Had a delivery of over a $100 coming, never got it. Said it was delivered. The neighbor came today said she got it 2 days ago at her house, can’t they read the numbers on the house for the right delivery, come on people. I don’t want to order anything here. I get nothing. It’s crazy. Never in my life has this happened. Terrible service.

They refuse to deliver packages in cactus forest. I sit on my porch and watch these idiots drive by. Not once in 25 years have they delivered a package. Use ups or fed x

What should have been a 2 minute ordeal in changing mailing addresses was turned into a 15 minute disagreement over policies that Lupe was very confidently incorrect about. She repeatedly disregarded the information I provided and laughed at me when I asked to speak with a supervisor for more information that she wasn't able to provide. She just wanted to get rid of me. She eventually gave me Angela Caldwell's name to call back in an hour. I came back onsite instead and asked for Angela, per Lupe's instruction. Silviano asked for some basic info about the situation and when he confirmed what I was there for, he confirmed everything I expected from my barcode scan. Just like that, what should have happened from the beginning happened while Lupe yelled arguements from the backroom. Silviano confirmed that "she knows better" and apologized for her behavior. This was my experience today.

Passports: Great place to get your passport done and or ask 30-minutes of Q&A on documents requirements, etc..! This is clearly their top priority. Bring the whole family; they process a lot of large family applications. Keep in mind there are usually only two clerks working, and one is almost always tied up helping families with passports. Mail Forwarding/Hold Service: Avoid doing it in person here — the mail forward and hold service is terrible. They loose the request, etc,... Save yourself the headache and do it online instead and hope for the best. Mail Delivery Speed: Mail moves very, very s-l--o---w----l-----y out of this Post Office. Blue Mailbox: By Wednesday afternoon, the outdoor blue mailbox is often completely full — likely it hasn’t been collected since Friday. Processing Delays: I run an online business, and when I mail from the Florence Post Office, it takes 4–6 business days (if I’m lucky) before I even see USPS tracking updates showing my mail reaching the Phoenix sorting center. I mail eBay standard envelope which tracks USPS 1st class mail through the USPS sorting centers (it a great way to see how effective a Post Office moves the 1st class mail out of a local Post Office). Additionally, I ship USPS Ground Advantage and USPS Priority Mail, speed may be slightly better but still very much delayed and slow compared to mailing anywhere else. By comparison, when I mail from Tucson, AZ my USPS First Class mail items are usually scanned at the Phoenix sorting center the same evening! The delay affects all services — Priority, Ground Advantage, and First Class. If you’re mailing something time-sensitive, expect it to be “digitally missing” for days because NO one will take the initiative or responsibility to move Express mail, so it is oftentimes left on counters like a hot potato, until YOU initiate a lost item claim. Ironically, the only advantage of using USPS Priority Express Mail here is that when it arrives late (which it will, after they find it, as it will likely first come up missing in the system and the search only beginning after YOU submit a missing claim), you can apply for a full refund. Again, file the claim or anything online, DO NOT FILE ANYTHING AT THIS POST OFFICE, unless, of course, it a Passport then your OK filing in person and bring the whole family too! Parents, kids, grandparents and grand kids, bring them all! Customer Service Quirk: At the end transaction at the service counter, I’ve noticed the clerks often reach over and select the green “smiley face” for you — marking the survey as positive before you have a chance to respond yourself. I’ve seen this at other locations, too, but it’s worth noting. It’s time for the residents of Florence and the surrounding communities to start contacting our congressional representatives and request oversight to help this Post Office get back to what it should be — a great small-town USPS Post Office focused on delivering mail efficiently, not just being the "A top destination" in Arizona for passport applications. You can also call the 800 number or online feedback, but honestly, I think it will take getting our local officials, citizens, businesses and our congressional representative to get this Post Office back to it priority of delivering and moving the USPS Mail!

A while back I posted about the broken lock on my cluster mailbox and my frustration that it hadn’t been fixed after I was told the whole unit would be replaced. I ended up paying for the repair and the lock was fixed and to be fair, the staff at the local post office were sincere and helpful about it. Looking back, I was probably more frustrated that day than anything. Overall, I’ve actually had good experiences with this post office — it has that small-town, country feel and the folks there are pretty genuine and helpful. Things break and things take time to fix, that’s just how it goes sometimes. Glad this one is resolved.
