A mailbox here costs $160 for 3 months, and then they decide to close for a week + without notifying mailbox holders. I had time sensitive packages mailed here that I couldn’t retrieve and some not able to be delivered due to them deciding to close for an entire week and then some, creating a massive inconvenience for me, a loss of time as well as money.
I have zero confidence in this store, and will avoid them at all costs in the future. They obviously do NOT care about their mailbox holders.
I will be using staple from now on for a mailbox, $10 a month, and they have better hours as well.
I will be speaking to management here at this UPS location asap to demand a refund of my $160. To say I’m miffed, would be an understatement.

I’ve done business with this store for 15 years and was well aware of the upcoming remodel project they were doing. I was expecting an important letter at my mailbox and asked if what would be the last day I could check my mail before the remodel started and when I went to check my mailbox, they said it was inaccessible. The mailbox rental prices have doubled in the last year so I will be taking my business elsewhere. The service has really gone down hill since new ownership took over.

Customer service from employee Tyler N. was very poor. He was dismissive and unwilling to be helpful. Gave me lectures about boxes ( boxes that UPS HAD DELIVERED THESE ITEMS TO ME ORIGINALLY!!!) after I asked him to find a way to be more helpful he finally stopped perking me around. But upsold me by insisting on an exterior box for one of my 3 packages anyway. I got bent over for $15 on top of the outrageous shipping fees. This experience was so annoying AND expensive that I will think twice before using UPS in the future
This is not an isolated experience. STRONGLY DO NOT RECOMMEND
Long-term box holders are well aware of the changes since new management took over, and many customers have canceled their boxes due to escalating costs and restrictive policies.
Under prior ownership (Michelle and Toby), this location operated efficiently and was customer-focused. Since then, PO Box rates increased rapidly—from $60 to $150 for three months on a small box—while customers are repeatedly required to provide updated IDs and documentation for every name on the box, including children. These requirements exceed what the main post office requires and are enforced inconsistently.
Management is rarely present and does not engage directly with customer concerns. Staff members are polite, but employee turnover has been high, which aligns with the number of customers who have discontinued service.
I maintained a box here for 15 years and canceled only after months of ongoing issues. This decision mirrors the experience of many former customers.
Shipping and stamp prices are approximately double those of the main post office. There are no military or veteran discounts offered.
A generic “we’re sorry about your experience” response does not address the documented pricing increases, policy changes, or customer attrition. For transparent policies, reasonable costs, and standard postal practices, the main post office is the better option.
