These folks are always super helpful, they always find and route packages that accidentally get delivered to the home address instead of the PO Box as is needed. Everyone is super nice- however as the age old saying goes, be nice to people and they will be nice to you and they may even go out of their way to help you.
- BMB B MACApr 27, 20195.0in review of many posts here on the Carefree Post Office ..... a few helpful hints: - first it is true that if you live in Carefree you must have a post office box in order to receive mail - although you have a legal street address as noted in Maricopa county records - your mailing address for everything must be as follows if you want your mail 100 Easy Street # (insert your box number only here) Carefree Arizona 85377 - put this address in your amazon and any other internet purchases - put this address as your mailing address for your tax bills / utilities many companies will not ship to post office boxes so DO NOT put “PO Box” or “Box” - a pound sign “#” is sufficient for ensuring the package or mail gets to you exception: ONLY use your physical address for large deliveries such as furniture exception 2: when temporarily forwarding mail from one residence to the Carefree post office - your address for should be: Post Office Box (insert your box number) Carefree Arizona 85377 - why no “100 Easy Street” in this application?? The USPS will change the above to “Post Office Box 100” and eliminate your actual box number - I do not have an answer as to why but it happened to us SEVEN times and after much missed mail .... changing it to the above somehow eliminated any more problems sadly - it is not the workers at the Carefree post office that have issues but the governing body that enforces the rules that these individuals must by law obey ..... frustrating is an understatement for all of us who have suffered missing mail or packages I do not not have I ever worked for USPS ..... I was just a frustrated customer that finally figured out the ugly maze and wanted to share with others so you don’t have to go through what I went through
