- SDShow Me State News (Kermit D.)Jul 12, 20241.0I have a family member that lives in city limits of Viola Arkansas, the house they rent has the mailbox to there residence on the house, and assuming that's where the mail has always came to the former residence that's lived there in the past, the mail carrier, it seems like he or she think they can refuse to deliver their mail cause all of a sudden the carrier can't get out and walk. There is no threat to postoffice property nor personnel, no animals, or anything to make a person or mail carrier to fill threaten by no means. And if the carrier that's a federal government employee wants to make up their own rules to the people they serve then get ahold of the landlord the owner of the residence and make them aware we the postoffice refuse to deliver the mail to this said residence until a mailbox is put at the street, cause we to lazy to walk a few feet to deliver your tenants mail and bills.

The postal worker at Viola, I think goes above and beyond normal service. She will check different ways to ship packages to compare rates and possibly save me money. I just enjoy going by in there, it's always been a pleasant experience for me. When I send packages to my son in the service, there is usually some cookies involved. When I send packages from Viola, they get there in two days. I have sent packages from my towns Post office, in Henderson and it takes 2 1/2 to 3 weeks, to go to the same place. Cookies aren't as fresh after that. When my son is deployed and I have to send packages over seas, I always get so much help in Viola P.O..
