- KSKathy Stokes-PhillipsAug 20, 20241.0Yesterday I took an expensive pkg ($6k) in to PO to ship it “Registered, signature required, and insure it for $6k” I was very clear on my instructions but James Conway, employee did Not do it registered nor insured it ! ; thus risking my loss of $6k if lost or stolen.unacceptable ! I Lost a nights sleep over it. I Called hope po master but he wouldn’t do anything so I filed a federal complaint with OIG for investigation it being under their jurisdiction. I think James is 1 of 3 reasons why he failed to mail it as requested. 1) he’s deaf?, 2) he intentionally ignored my instructions wanting me to lose $6k if stolen or lost. Or 3) he’s incompetent and does Not know how to do usps registered/ Insured packages. But this is not acceptable and he needs to be accountable for the $6k and he should be disciplined
