I always have issues with this location, my packages are always delayed, and will sit at the post office for multiple days before it’s out for delivery. Their phone line doesn’t work as if they know how bad they suck and how much their phone would be ringing with complaints . It’s almost impossible to get any information about your packages where about, if you call the USPS line they can’t offer you any info outside of what you yourself can already see and if you call the store it will say the phone line is disconnected.

I enjoy trusting my mail to the Huron Post Office. They are a friendly, courteous, efficient personnel. BUT, the parking lot today was immensely disappointing. I could not get into the first entrance because I slid all over the place backwards. Finally, the second entrance was a little better and here I go slip-sliding away and had to park wherever I could. The staff was so helpful but looked worried and said they were concerned about their parking lot, too. On the way out the door, I fell slightly forward because of sliding catching my self with my hands. Why had this roller rink post office parking lot issue not been addressed? It is not salted and ploughed or even shoveled! It was immensely disappointing! And dangerous. The businesses across the street and a nearby restaurant were cleared and worked on. Please someone ir something help our beloved post office.

I went to my local post office today to track a package, and what should have been a simple transaction turned into a full-blown argument with the cashier because I dared to mention the famous line engraved right on one of their buildings: “Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds.” This isn’t some made-up fairy tale, it’s literally chiseled in stone on the James A. Farley Post Office in New York (and associated with USPS forever). But this cashier literally tried to argue with me and tell me that this was not an adopted thing, like I was making it up or something. I had to stand there explaining that yes, it’s engraved on a James A. Farley Post Office in New York (and associated with USPS forever)... your own organization’s most iconic building! AND it’s been tied to postal workers for over a century, even if it’s unofficial and comes from ancient Persia via Herodotus. He doubled down, insisting it’s “not official” and “not a commitment,” acting like I was the idiot for bringing it up. Meanwhile, packages are late, lines are endless, and half the time mail doesn’t show up at all in bad weather anyway. Safety first? Sure. But don’t gaslight customers about your own history when it’s literally carved into granite! If your employees don’t even know (or refuse to acknowledge) what’s engraved on your flagship buildings, what hope is there for basic competence? Avoid this place if you can, use UPS or FedEx, or just email everything. I give this branch 1 star only because I can’t give zero. (And to the cashier: Google exists. The inscription is real, it’s on your building, and arguing about it doesn’t make you right, it just makes the whole experience worse.)

Have been trying to contact USPS about my packages. Looks like I’ll have to show up in person. The last two packages say delivered to mailbox but I never received. The first one was found on the ground ripped open and the other one I’m not sure. I currently have one coming in and I’m afraid the same thing will happen which is why I’m reaching out. I reached before when I didn’t receive those and I was told to file an inquiry of some sort which I did. Not sure what that did. I know USPS is overworked and understaffed. I’m not putting this comment here to target staff for something they can’t control unless they can. I’m posting it more so someone can see this as additional piece of construction feedback!
