newer employees cool- Postmaster and a certain other carrier wont deliver my mail after delivering for three years, and seem to be assisting my abusive step father ( who has a restraining order) in harassing my family- it is run like a bad soap opera from the 80's

If I could give one star I would. They don’t answer their phones, if you happen to get ahold of them they are incredibly rude and our mail carrier is frankly a danger to society. She does 35-40 down dirt roads and flies around blind corners in the middle of the road. Honestly the entire staff needs fired

Unable to reach the local office in Witter or Huntsville by phone without the call disconnecting. How am I to sign for a package when I can't speak to someone on the phone to see where the package will be sent? I saw the delivery driver come to my house on security camera, I am now trying to locate a store to have my package redelivered.

UPDATE: January 2026. This location closes for an hour and a half and cannot sort their incoming packages to have available when you bring package notices in. I was in this office this past week and was told I would need to come back (this was at 9:15am). I went back after the lunch break, allowing an extra thirty minutes. (after 2:00pm) Only one of 4 packages was located. She said that she needed to help the other people behind me. I went to the back of the line, allowing the other customers to be helped. I told her that I did not want to come back a third time today. She seemed frustrated that I needed the packages. The postal person refuses to drive to my home to deliver our packages and we live less than a half mile from our mailbox. The prior mail person did deliver to our home. And to add to insult of the lack of care for their customers, the parking spaces and a good part of the sidewalk were a solid sheet of ice. A very kind man in our community came to clear the sidewalk out of his on concern for the publics safety. His name was Chris. The least they could do is sprinkle salt or ice melt on the sidewalk. The continuing saga: Is it possible to give zero stars? If so, this location is just that, a zero! Allow me to count the ways this office is inadequate. 1.) it has never been kept clean, inside, or outside. Dirty glass, broken glass front windows, taped until they had to be replaced, finally. 2.) There were trashcans and a table for sorting out mail until a few years ago, there are no trashcans to dispose of even an envelope adhesive. 3.) There's only one kind soul that even attempts to provide service there, a younger lady. Bless her for having to deal with all of those that don't frankly give a damn. I can tell that she must receive the brunt of customer dissatisfaction. And she's starting to have I don't care attitude, sadly, her environment is rubbing off on her. 4.) This location NEVER has a selection of stamps other than basics. I drive to Fayetteville or order stamps online when I need them. This is not a difficult thing to do. 5.) The pricing on Priority boxes is not kept up to date. I selected a box due to a specific price, due to the contents value not being as much as the cost to send. When the price rang up higher, I commented to the woman that was not the price listed. She went around the counter, came out into the customer area where I was, snatched all the prices off the shelves then returned to her post. She then commented that " I was the only one who had ever complained. " Please!! 6.) In thirteen years of this office servicing our home, only two of our postal delivery people have gotten our delivery right. One gentleman retired shortly after me moved to the area, the other person is Amanda, who actually cares about her route and accuracy. 7.) Our mailbox is adequate to carry the majority of our packages, yet, the delivery seems to be not attempted. More of the same, don't care attitude. 8.) They do not answer their telephone. 9.) Several years ago, I had an overnight package that was lost for two weeks. This office was of no help. I drove to the Fayetteville Joyce Blvd location to get the help that I needed. There's no wonder the USPS is failing. If more Postmasters were held accountable, possibly the population would have more trust in their abilities. Instead, we have a Postmaster waiting out their years until they retire, to only be replaced by another of the same cloth. The current postmaster must really not care. Shout out to the Fayetteville Joyce location, Hindsville, and Goshen locations. They have friendly and helpful employees, plenty of stamp choices and trashcans. I suppose their employees do not mind extending themselves to empty the trash cans. FIVE STARS FOR FAYETTEVILLE and the little Goshen location that closes early. What a shame Huntsville! A dirty, unkept location. :/

Someone at this post is opening mail before it gets to my mailbox. Please put this to a stop.
