- JAJason ArmstrongJan 2, 20255.0#298 Stop by the Garfield AR Post Office to take a look around at this new looking building. The PO was very clean but had no sign that said when it was builded. The people who work here do a great job keep up the good work. Sure a step up from what they had back in 1881. When the town was asked to be name by the railroad suggestion were place in a hat and the town got if's name from the luck of the draw. The name of Garfield was suggested to honor the assassinated president.
