- CHCeleste HaleMay 30, 20251.0I am not sure why this post office is being subsidized. I was waiting on a package, monitoring the tracking at least daily. The most recent update said it was in Little Rock. It then arrived in Danville and was immediately returned. USPS usually leaves packages at my front door but this time they did not leave it nor a note communicating it needs to be picked up. So I went to the post office to see what happened and if it might be there. There was a man at the counter who appeared to be a manager. I asked if he can search by my address because the tracking link stopped working. He first quickly said no without an explanation and then after being further inconvenienced by me said he can. When I asked why it was mailed back without leaving a note indicating it needed to be picked up, he got loud and defensive saying he mails them back himself and he made no error. I expressed my dissatisfaction which he responded by yelling “Thank you.” It appears it was not an error but many acts of laziness and inconsideration by him and his employees. It is unfortunate the local residents accept this service and behavior.
