Terrible service and spotty deliveries, what an embarrassment USPS has become. The only thing that they are good at now is raising prices

I was supposed to have three packages delivered today. Instead at 9:40 am I got a notification that they had attempted delivery but couldn't because it was an unsecured location. I didn't know a house was unsecured, thats what it said on USPS when I put in the tracking number. I checked the mailbox, nothing. At 12:42 pm I got a notification that my third package had been delivered. So apparently because the driver would have to get out of the vehicle and take the package to the front door that was too much effort so they decided 3 hours earlier they they weren't going to deliver the package and the only way for me to get it would be to come pick it up at the post office.

I have to tell these guys atleast once a year that they should be putting my package on my porch really anywhere under my porch. Since it has gotten cold again they started doing it again. I get that it’s cold but you should really be dressing for your job. Putting my packages by our garage is not my porch and I have had way to many packages ruined by the hands of the post office this holiday season because they don’t know how to do their job correctly or simply don’t want to. I’m sure it’s part of the training that they tell you to put it in the mailbox or on the porch or by their door not my garage. Here’s a picture of my messy porch as you can see you can clearly see my front porch door from the garage.
