- CSChristian Stanley6 days ago1.0Whoever they have delivering to Elgin is the laziest person ever. Doesn’t even attempt to deliver packages, just says they can’t deliver. Vehicles in my driveway, sunny day, I get a message saying they had a problem delivering. The problem is whoever it is, is too lazy to get out of their truck. If you aren’t able bodied enough to get out of the truck you probably shouldn’t be delivering packages.

- KMKaren McGeeSep 30, 20251.0We have a gate on our driveway, and have sent the code to every mail delivery service that we use. The last year, our mail carrier refuses to come down and put the code in to deliver any packages. Also we have set up a parcel package box on the gate post so packages can be stuck in there instead of opening the gate. Mail carrier refuses to use the box if he can't stick packages in our mailbox. Several times I've had to drive to town to get packages from the PO. Now our son who lives next door to us and does not have a gate, can't get his packages delivered. Delivery texts say they don't have a gate code, cannot deliver. We're getting pretty tired of having these issues. FedEx and UPS have no problem coming thru the gate and putting our deliveries on our front porch. Think we're going to start filing complaints on the driver's, if it will do any good.

The staff is so friendly and Traci has always been so helpful and she finds me the best way to ship my items and save money! I would recommend this post office 10/10 times to anyone.
