  UPS said a return would cost $74 in the original bag the package arrived in thru UPS. I took the same package to the Postal Service and paid $16.25 to return it. The very nice lady at the postal service said, when I told her about it, “Yes, they are high!” Lessons learned: 1) don’t buy anything without free returns 2) don’t take it to UPS if you have to pick up the tab for the return

  Hello! The reason I gave 10 for the rating is because the Prattville location deserves it! The store has been so busy due to people returning packages and other things. The staff handled themselves professionally and was kind too! I did praise them for doing a great job! Not to mention a couple was there getting their marriage certificate notarized. How amazing and they still kept the line moving! So that's why I recommend the UPS Store to friends and colleagues too!

  Worst UPS location I’ve ever been to. Avoid at all costs. They seem to be stuck on the idea of making money any way they can. I brought my Amazon return back in the box it came in. They claimed since it was not a “shipping box” they would not accept the return. However, they would have been happy to sell me one. 🙃 I went back to my car to read the return instructions more carefully and per Amazon quote. The item needs to be packed in a box with no other shipping labels visible. My item absolutely meets the requirements for return. The box the item came shipped in with about eight other items is HUGE. So I’m on my way to go get that box now LOL. I never had this problem at the location in Montgomery.

  Edit: As evidenced below, I was asked to reach out regarding my review. I did so with greater details regarding the interaction and was asked to reply with the store number so it could be forwarded to the appropriate individuals. I promptly provided what I believe to be the store number. Seems weird that they wouldn't ask for the location address to ensure it was correct instead of relying on the consumer to search and discern their own system. But hey, par for the course here apparently. That was a little over a week ago with no response, no acknowledgement, no anything. I mean, my faith in UPS and their affiliates was already pretty low at this point but my God, they've just shit the bed entirely. Original: Yeah, dont waste your time and effort. I was asked for my ID to verify i was "in their system." Ok, kinda weird order of operations there that threw me off. I understand asking for it for verification of return address prior to final acceptance but the first time Ive been asked so I can be "in their system." I was asked what was in there, "nothing crazy, no prohibited items like lithium batteries or anything like that." Well what is it? "Nothing prohibited or illegal, do I have to tell you exactly?" "Yes, in case it gets lost so they can know what they're looking for." (Which doesnt inspire a great deal of confidence) "It's an action." What kind of action? "A rifle action, going to the manufacturer." We cant ship it. So with that: no stock, no trigger, nothing useful but the rep refused to ship it, despite it being completely legal. I understand UPS has the right to refuse service but this was a little ridiculous. So, dont bother, Brown cant do it.

  Lines way too long. Then they changed my line to pre paid only, and sent me to the end of the second line (i was 2 people from the counter) Wasted my whole lunch break. Ended up at fed ex.
