Maxwell Air Force Base is blessed to have this postal station on base. More over, we are lucky to have Shelia there. I always find reasons to ship things off because it's such a treat to just exchange pleasantries with her. Though we are going through tough times, she has made sure each and every package I have brought there (there have been hundreds) made it out expeditiously. kk

My husband was stationed there for OTS. Long story short we moved and are trying to reach the PO as they have a package of ours that we need. NO ONE ANSWERS THE PHONES. Day three and still no one has answered.

I believe the ladies name is Shelia... she is always rude and passively aggressive to customers. It's inappropriate and embarrassing how she treats military members.

Older lady that works the front desk is generally not there and when she is you will very much be on her time table when waiting for or receiving service. One time, after shuffling around in the back for a while looking for someone's lost package, she finally arrived to the service desk just to tell us all she had to go to the bathroom. Couldn't make this up, but shes probably been doing this most her adult life and is nearing retirement. Which is also probably why she came off as rude and condescending every one of my three visits to send a few bank documents. Would have loved to save time/not working with her if my bank didn't need the paper copies...there's a reason people don't use/want to use USPS. The one star/benefit is that it is on base...although closed from 1-2 and always on the weekends..
