- RVRome VersaceOct 7, 20251.0If you’re expecting reliable mail service from the USPS location in Meridianville, prepare to be disappointed. This branch has turned basic delivery into a gamble. Packages routinely end up at the wrong address, and if it’s raining, they don’t even try! They just slap a “return to sender, No known address” label and send it back. We’ve been waiting months for a corrected birth certificate, only to learn from the health department it was returned with “no such address.” Our address is real house and we been here 5 years. Their effort is not. Important documents? Expect them in your neighbor’s box. Question a “delivered” package? You’ll be met with hostility and blame from staff who act like civility is beneath them. The attitude is aggressive, defensive, and completely unprofessional, like you’re the problem for daring to ask where your mail went. We drive to Hazel Green, where the staff are courteous, competent, and treat you like a human being. USPS Meridianville needs a complete overhaul, starting with accountability, training, and a reminder that delivering mail is not optional.

Called USPS customer service and the rep said that I did not owe additional shipping because it was paid by Amazon. Went to PO to pickup as she suugested and they refused release unless I paid. This must be a scam if local PO can levy additional charges. Why didn't they charge when they picked it up? I told them to return it. Now they have to pay to send it back. Shows how poorly managed usps is. USPS should be closed down, UPS and FedEx are better and have never tried to extort more money to give me my items.
