Went to get our mail through general delivery at the Lillian, AL location and was told they don't do general delivery. Although we checked online and it says they do. The gal who was working on Dec 23rd 2024 @ 330pm said: they don't do it because they don't have the space for it and it's not fair that people come from the north think they can get their mail sent here when the people that live here pay for a PO box. She didn't even want to look at my husband's phone when he tried to show her. She said it comes from her higher-ups and postmaster. Seems like it isn't about not having enough space more like she has issues with people traveling trying to get mail. P.S. We are actually from the west.

- WGWill GaglioneJan 4, 20231.0I hate leaving bad reviews but at this point I’ve had it. I had our mailman (drives the red Jeep) knock our mailbox off. I understand accidents happen, but then he ran it over. Instead of leaving it at our door or even knocking to let us know what happened, he leaves it in the grass. Luckily my neighbor saw the whole thing. When we brought it to the attention of the mail center, they informed us that they would be getting us a new one and sorry for the inconvenience. GREAT! I appreciated that they were on it. Close to Christmas and my partner and I were walking to our car when we saw a box on our mailbox stand… apparently instead of getting us the right mailbox, they had decided to get us a wall mounted mailbox. When I brought it to their attention, they said they would take care of it and I’ve heard nothing about it since. I am forced to drive to the post office and get my mail and live with this ugly site of a stand with no mailbox in front of my house until I buy myself a new one it seems…
- JSJohn StaleyMay 31, 20171.0The post office itself seems ok but whoever they have picking up mail from mail boxes is awefull. I have called to complain 3 times over the past years and it is still happening. You can put mail in your mailbox and put the flag up. It will sit there 2 sometimes 3 days. They won't pick up mail till they have something to drop off in your box however long that takes. Totally ignore outgoing mail.
