I have noticed that my mail carrier is delivering my mail to my mailbox on some days, and bringing my mail and packages up to my house on other days. As a business owner, this inconsistency has been causing inconvenience and disruption to my operations. I would like to request your assistance in resolving this matter. My team and I are willing to purchase a new locking mailbox and package box for our roundabout drive-thru, which is a quarter-mile long and requires me to cross a highway where trucks drive at 60 mph to retrieve my mail. This is not only inconvenient, but also poses a substantial safety risk. If my child or I get hit by a vehicle take this as notice of intent to file a lawsuit against USPS as well as yourself personally for this negligence. I understand that there are guidelines in place for moving mailboxes, but I respectfully ask that you consider my situation. We are a growing business, and having all of our mail in one place would greatly benefit our operations. I hope you will understand my concerns and offer a solution that works for both of us. She was verbly irrate towards my dad over the phone about an issue semi-recently and on top of that she went back on her word to me about shipping cost of a large heavy package. I had went into the post office there in leighton one time to get the shipping price for that box to charge a online customer an exact amount. Had the receipt of the shipping cost she had printed me after weighing the box and item. Charged the online customer. They paid. Brought package back. Had receipt. She charged me nearly double and claimed I had swapped shipment boxes when I hadn't. I found out she was having heart problems so I held my tongue. You never know what others are going through. However on the business end of things it was highly unprofessional. This happened several months ago but I'm still sour and because of recent issues with the post office- I just feel better getting this off my chest.
