They do not scan them in for at least a week. 48 of my small business orders aren’t in my hands and are late now, still not scanned in a week later. They never pick up the phone and when I attempted to retrieve the MY packages after standing in that awful line, they refused. Go to the New Hope post office if you need something shipped on time.

Only way to get them scanned is to wait in a line for 15-20min while they have one line open. Dropped off 18 packages in the drop box Sunday night and when they still weren’t scanned by Thursday I opened a case. The locations postmaster called me and said “we don’t scan packages that are dropped off, there’s too many packages. Birmingham doesn’t scan them either they’ll get scanned when delivered” I explained that I was thinking they still had the packages there. No she said. Well Friday night almost a full week later they scanned in. AS Acceptance scans at the Haysland post office! So yep your packages will sit in the back. If it’s important just used FedEx Ground. Roughly the same price and sometimes cheaper
