Scheduled passport appoinment weeks in advanced. Arrive 15 minutes early only to be informed the passport agent is not in office today. What's the point of scheduling an appointment if I am not going to be notified or prompted for a reschedule when the agent decides not to work that day?

I usuall.y don't do this (because I love the staff at this location) ..but this had me a bit heated. I placed a hold on my mail yesterday which was due to start today (2.21.26). I was going to pick up my package and my mail around 10 (when they open)..but I revived an updated text stating my package was out for delivery (time 0806hrs) expect to be delivered before 12:45 p.m.. O.k. I was cool with that ..since it was already on its way NP.. Then, 1245hrs came next time was 1445.. then that came and went.. then it stated my package was due out for delivery by 200hrs (8 p.m. ). SMH I wasn't aware that our mail person had already came by close 1300hrs or so. I started thinking it was possible my 2 letters and my package from the V.A. was on another carrier's vehicle. NP. Well, as I was getting ready to head back out for the day..I received a text....at exactly 1712hrs (5:12 p.m.) indicating my package has been delivered in my mailbox. I was seconds from the mail box area...and I didn't even see the mail carrier or any other cars ...with the exception of my Leasing Manager. We'll, I was hopeful....I opened my mailbox and it was indeed empty..not even a letter or two laid inside. To falsely state that you had delivered any package coming from the V.A. hospital is quite disgusting!!! You are playing with my livihood and just because the carrier did what they did....I'm without my medication!!!! I had trouble with the mail last time.. this is why I just wanted to have my stuff left alone. For the simple fact it was a package that came from V.A... you would think they would handle it with care and NOT lie about it. I even asked Lisa if she saw anyone up with that time frame ...NO!!!!!!! This is a severe issue that was done fully knowing that mail was NOT delivered at the intended address...but was in fact marked as follows: DELIVERED - .*Repost..somehow it got removed* So update...I'm going to call it like it is!! Mail theft...People want to go around stealing Veterans medication directly from their job.. go right ahead!! 2x within 7 days.... SMH Others tried in larger cities and clearly didn't get away with it.. so have fun.. Trust...they're watching you just like they watched the last bunch... Also, if anyone suspects mail theft just don't call the police you need to file a report with the USPS OIG (they have their own law enforcement agencies which is Federal...and if its Narcotics related DEA possibly could get involved). I'M PISSED!!!

Made a passport appt for today at 1:15. Showed up 10 min early as specified to a sign on the door that says no passport services today. Would’ve been nice to have been called before having my husband and I take off work to show up to a closed door. Only one guy working the whole building and one long line. Seems to be poorly managed.
