I’ve never had a more frustrating experience with a post office than the Gulf Shores USPS. They only hold packages for 24 hours — which is ridiculous — and never bothered to call or notify us beyond the automated alert. We tried contacting the post office multiple times as soon as we got the update and were hung up on every single time. When we finally went in, the employee (a thin man with bad tattoos) was extremely disrespectful, dismissive, and completely unhelpful. He offered zero solutions and acted like our concerns were an inconvenience to him. I honestly don’t understand how this location continues to operate with service this poor. The lack of communication, lack of customer care, and lack of professionalism is unbelievable. This post office needs major improvement in customer service and accountability.

Staying in campground. PO would not deliver to the address. Went to PO to pickup. $18 charge to "intercept" package. Intercept meaning literally walk back in the building and get it. $9 audio cord. Either pay the $ 18 intercept fee or they return to sender. $18 for that??? Ludicrous
