- RRRichardMay 27, 20242.0Everyone has been nice and pleasant at the post office. The only issue I have with this post office is packages. Usually packages are delivered, but at times they are not. For no apparent reason, random packages are left at the post office and have to be picked up. They will deliver packages while other packages sit at the post office, non delivered. The post office reports that the delivery was attempted, which is not true. They just leave random packages behind. Once a package is left behind, there is no future delivery attempts made. The package will just sit at the post office for weeks until someone picks it up. Meanwhile new packages get delivered, while the abandoned package just sits in the post office. Why they would report that they attempted to deliver a package when they did not is puzzling at the least. I have not lost a package yet, but this method concerns me. At least the sender is aware, through USPS tracking that the package was not delivered, but the sender is misinformed that an attempt was made, when there was absolutely no attempt made.
