The carriers park in random places all over town; going through the mail. They throw the packages and leave them wherever they land. You spend money on your purchase plus delivery and they will ruin your items by mishandling and misplacing them. I wish Amazon and sellers would stop shipping with them.

This post office should be shut down. For months, one of their employees has harassed my dog, as well as the owners of the home he was staying at. She threw stuff at him, threatened to harm him, and failed to deliver their mail multiple times. Both myself and the homeowners requested her to be removed, which this post office FAILED to do so. She claimed my dog was vicious, which he is not. yes, he ran at the car. We offered for her to meet him multiple times. They live on a dead end street and their compromise was to keep him inside from 10am-2pm. The OAG (not sure if that's the correct spelling) are involved because she is in union. They did a "drive by" the day after Christmas, the same day my dog was found DEAD presumably HIT BY A CAR. I have 100% belief and suspicion that this post office did this on PURPOSE. I was there on 12/8 and watched this woman TURN AROUND while I actually had my dog on a leash. I was returning 1/2 to bring him home to FL but now that will never happen. I have been calling every day and NO ONE answers the phone. I WANT TO KNOW THE EXACT TIME THESE PEOPLE DROVE BY. I hope everyone there feels absolutely disgusted for protecting this woman's job. She has multiple complaints on her from multiple people regarding dogs. She needs to be fired, as well as a FULL INVESTIGATION into the death of my dog!

I don't think you can ask for a worse delivery service. Prior to moving to Gadsden I would have a package late every now and then, since moving if I see "Shipped with USPS" I am filled with dread. One of the clerks, I believe her name is Lisa, is the worst of it that I have had the displeasure of having to interact with. After this office held my package for over a week past the expected delivery, the goes as far as to lie and claim the package isn't here and when it shows in the system a week later that it is (with no changes in tracking between, meaning they just never marked it as received), she refuses to let me pick the package up without even checking my tracking number because there are "too many packages" and says that even if she did bother it'd cost $21 for an "Intercept fee". Had my package been shipped through UPS or even FedEx, I would have had it a week ago. Even if I still lived somewhere other than Gadsden, I would have it by now. This USPS is a prime example of why a government funded mailing service was a bad idea. If your service is so bad that I would *prefer* to pay more to have it shipped with anyone else, maybe you shouldn't be in business. Even worse? I don't receive my mail till nearly 9pm in the area I live, this was not a problem when I lived elsewhere. USPS, please, replace this team with one who can do the one function your company exists to do.
