I will start with part of it is my fault… I have moved homes and due to second nature ,living in the same house for my whole life till about two years ago, I see my address and don’t think much of it . Well I called see that the address was wrong and if they could with hold it. I asked plenty of questions about who can pick it up, how many days and can be there ( due to working till 5 pm , after closing hours) and she said that was fine and yes to everything question. My brother goes to pick it up and he says they sent it back. He stated our old address and my name nothing. I call and magically the package is there and that lady has the audacity to say at the end or the conversation it will only be held for today. Ten minutes after the package is in my siblings hand . WTH !!! I had never had an issue till these couple of times .

My mail that was dated to be delivered today, has been stuck at this mail center for the last 10 days. You know it's a bad usps center when someone who lives on the other side of the country is complaining about it! Reading some of these reviews i definitely see why. No more USPS shipping for me!

I've had some bad experiences with UPSP priority mail leaving the post office, up to date tracking and delivery on time. When I call after 5 days, I'm told to call back in a few more days. I call the local post office in Fort Payne, Alabama and I'm told the package has left their facility and is in Birmingham but the tracking shows no movement of package leaving the FT. PAYNE post office. If the package has left, why is there no up to date tracking information? This is unacceptable by USPS because there are people who have businesses and their relationships and reputations are damaged due to USPS delays. The packages are never delivered by the generated priority mailing delivery date. This is not the first time, I've had to file claims.. USPS MUST PRIORITIZE THEIR CUSTOMERS AND DO BETTER!!

Of every city I have ever lived in Fort Payne probably has the most incompetent USPS drivers I have ever seen. Almost every time I have gotten a package delivered through them it has been delivered to the wrong address. Most of the time it isn’t too big of a deal because it’s just nextdoor at a neighbors house. Today however I had a package worth over $100 delivered to the complete wrong area, luckily a kind lady messaged me on Facebook and got it to me. You guys need to do better!

I have had several bad experiences with this post office but just recently I ordered a lens for a photo shoot that was supposed to be here by Monday. The post office would not attempt to deliver it to my house so they took it back and then nobody was paying attention and they dumped it back into the outgoing mail. So my camera lens ended up going all the way back to Birmingham had to be re-processed and then brought back here. I was delayed four days and missed my photo shoot. All because no one in the post office paid attention. And all they can tell me was that I would just have to wait because they messed it up. Very frustrated with the service here. They have also left three packages Behind my mailbox in the ditch while it was raining outside. I would much rather than take it back and have to go pick it up a day later than it to sit out in the rain. Hopefully this review will spark better service and more consideration.
