I mailed a package to Cottondale that took 3 weeks because you all can't seem to direct the mail properly. My sister lives at the end of 216 and you sent her Birthday package to Bessemer?????? Sent my mother a gift from from this post office and it has departed the post office on it's way to another facility. She literally lives on Chigger Ridge. What in the world? She should have gotten her package today. You sent her gift to freaking Bessemer. I'm about done with you all. Get it together!

- LMLinda McGuireAug 26, 20242.0What is going on with mail pickup and delivery at this post office? I have put a letter in my mailbox and put the flag up. When I checked my mail, the flag was down, mail was put on top of my outgoing letter. That happened for two days before they actually picked it up. That could be why my bills are getting to the recipient late. I know of other people this has happened to also. Our carrier is not very consistent either, sometimes it's 10 and sometimes it is 2 when she delivers. I am not sure if our old carrier retired or moved to another area but she was very dependable, I really miss her. I receive informed delivery so I know what's coming in my mail but a lot of times I don't receive it for a couple of days later, which could be another reason my bills are late. I also get other people's mail. Also when you go into the post office you are not greeted very friendly at all, it's like they do not enjoy their job. If I'm not mistaken they get paid pretty good.

Always get in and out, never pressure you to buy anything you don't need or to ship things more expensive than you have to. Thank you for this wonderful Post Office that is convenient, friendly and the best! Also, I know as for my carrier, I never have packages stolen or missing, she remembers the people on her route! Edit in June 2020, what has happened to this post office?! And I'm not referring to the Covid19 times! I understand that and by no means am referring to this time but it started before that. It seems there is new staff 🤦🏻♀️
