  My review is being placed here as this is the corporate office of PNC Bank of Alabama. I have been a customer of the same bank for over 40 years. My business has been sold to other banks a number of times, but in the past, it has been a positive move. This time, PNC purchased Compass, and things have not gone well for me. Last month, corporate renewed a CD for me. When the paperwork came in the mail, the number of months was incorrect. Also, last month, I had an account where the percent of interest was not what we agreed upon and is not what my paperwork shows. A simple call should have produced answers plus the correction of the banks errors. In the last month, this has escalated four levels before I was assigned a person in Kalamazoo that I was told could work through my issues. It has been over two weeks, and the individual assigned to me will not return a call. The PNC branch that I use has tried to help, but still no communication on errors made by PNC. It should not take over one month, and now a total of six escalations through Pittsburgh and Kalamazoo still do not have a correction made. The bottom line is that PNC has no interest in dealing with errors they make. UPDATE: It has been well over a month. Corporate will not respond to correct the errors that they made on two of my accounts. The local branch tried to get involved, but they can not get corporate to respond. Obviously, they will not address their errors even though I was assigned a person who refuses to respond.

  I have used PNC for over 20 years. I was charged $3.00 two times twice last week on one ATM charge. I called customer service since this was another banks ATM. They told me they mo longer reimburse the charges. I will switch banks after 20 years.

  On Jan 25, I went to PNC Eastwood branch to close my IRA account. After 3 hours of being told I didn't have an IRA account, I left. Went back on the 26th and saw the manager. She apologized and said I did, in fact, have an IRA account and after another 3 hours, she told me the funds would be mailed to me from their IRA office. To date, Feb 21 I have not received the check.

  Stay away from this bank !!! moved overseas for business reasons , demanded to change my address and phone number , wire money from my account to my account then the nightmare started , spend hours on phone , sending and signing forms , Despite multiple identity check , they literally block me from wiring my money or changing my adresse !!! When I escalated to a manager it was even more difficult 😥 A nightmare to deal with but , the only positive things , is that they did all this none sense with a lot of apologies , feels better ! Will have to take a flight ticket to NY in order to close my account. OMG !!!!
