Anita is VERY RUDE! I asked if they had an ICE complaint box. She said “no.” I asked her name and She said to make sure it was spelt right on the review and she said, “Make sure it was good.” I said, “I will, thank you.” She said, “oh, I know you will.” Then said something as I was walking out the door. I was shipping 2 little packages. Anita, just stood there staring at me for about 5 seconds. Then rudely said “if you want to ship them then place them on the scale.” I said, oh really” cause clearly I didn’t know. She replied “yes, really” very snotty. As I was waiting on the QR code to pull up on my phone, she threw the barcode scanner down and continued to stare at me.

There must be serious lacking of candidates for the post office to keep a staff as unhappy and as irritable as Ms. Anita. She must have been the only choice that despite her attitude, they keep her. Worst ever USPS staff I faced. I have mostly lived in an army base, I take pride in my community and so I have so much respect for everyone but I also expected that since I am in the base, I will always get graceful and good people who actually care about military members and their families. Well Anita just destroyed that illusion. I wonder why she has no respect towards people, no hint of proper customer service, you just see her doing her job that she seems to hate. I have never met a post office staff this impolite, as if seeing customers in that place is something she really really loathes so much. Mind you, I am the kind that you will never see argue with anyone, I treat everyone with respect, smile at people who pass me by. Im that kind of person so it could not have been me that triggered that demeaning treatment . She just wanted me to be gone asap. Just drive all the way to USPS at Elmendorf. Tim is a much more pleasant and rightful person to represent USPS. It's like night and day. It's refreshing to have finally have an amicable USPS lady here in JBPH.

Call beforehand; counter has extremely sporadic hours (e.g. closed 4 times at non-standard times in the last 8 days of trying to pickup mailbox keys).

Surprisingly good post office. I have used it a few times and have not had any issues with lines or rude employees which seems to be an issue with some of the other ones off base.
