- FFFishhookJan 3, 20261.0Shipped 2 packages Overnight Express from California to Fairbanks at a cost of over $400. Both packs tracked exactly the same to FBX and showed "on truck, out for delivery". Both were pilferable items requiring signature. Delivery driver delivered 1/2 and said "the other is on a truck that will be here later tonight." Tracking updated and said item was at the destination facility and would be delivered Wednesday. Wednesday a.m. status was "on truck out for delivery" Waited all day Wednesday and at 10 pm status changed to destination facility, scheduled for Friday delivery. Friday morning status changed to "on truck out for delivery". 2:11 the status changed to destination facility scheduled for delivery Monday. Went to the Old Airport location to find out status. Spoke with young lady that didn't know she got another lady that obviously didn't listen to me about the status and made excuse after excuse including a driver hitting the door of a facility manager's car, low temperatures, bad weather (had she listened to me she would have known the missing package was at the "destination facility" and had been scanned several times as at the facility and on the truck for delivery.). Thank God for Vincent! He listened to me for 20 seconds and then solved the problem. Why would I have to pay over $400 for something to be shipped overnight express only for it to simply sit at the destination and repeatedly scheduled for delivery, returned to the destination facility, scheduled for delivery, etc and then I have to go to the FedEx facility and pick up the package? It will be a long time before I try to use FedEx in Fairbanks.
